First 3 months of 2020 are gone

We usually review the year only when it ends, but I thought it would be good to stop now, after 3 months have passed, and have a look back. Sort of a reality check.

What am I holding on to these days?

I will be very honest, this is not going anywhere good, and everyday is a challenge. Yesterday I had a bit of a mental breakdown because of the fact that I was basically doing nothing at work all day. I am a salesperson, my job is to sell the venue for private hires and events. The PM advised avoiding bars, pubs and restaurants with the current situation, and that is a very reasonable measure which I am supporting. On the other hand, I am worried because no one knows exactly for how long this situation is going to last, and having to come to a job where you can’t do anything but wait is consuming. No one wants to come over anymore, people are cancelling their bookings, we are losing a lot of money and […]

What if staying at home is not an option?

In the end of January my manager asked me if I had Coronavirus, as a joke, because I was coughing. I don’t have a TV and I don’t read the news (what an ignorant); I had no idea what she was talking about. I searched Google, and I found out about this rapidly spreading virus.

And now all the parents will say “You will only understand when you will have your own”. Oh, I definitely will, but not the way you are expecting me to. I will understand even more than now how hard it will be to […]

If you want to harm someone, keep them awake

Working on myself is not as easy as I thought it would be

It all starts from a New Year resolution. Because aren’t we so in love with them? Don’t we set up resolutions every single 1st of Jan?
One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to stop using my phone for so long as used to. It was literally sticked to my hand all day long. I was going to sleep with it and waking up with it.
